What You Can Expect

The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. You'll stop by the three of them and get escorted by the Egyptologist. Afterwards you shall have some photos from somewhere called "The Panorama"; where you are higher than the Pyramids and have a fantastic view above them with Cairo in the background.

You'll then drive a small distance to the Great Sphinx, which is one of the world's largest and oldest statues but basic facts about it are still subject to debate, such as when it was built, by whom, and for what purpose. These questions have resulted in the popular idea of the "Riddle of the Sphinx", alluding to the original Greek legend of the Riddle of the Sphinx.
The next stop is for the lunch; which will be an oriental air-conditioned restaurant offering a variety of some different traditional meals, that suits all tastes (Vegetarian meals are available upon request).

The tour then takes you the earliest known Egyptian pyramids, which are found at Saqqara, northwest of Memphis. The earliest among these is the Pyramid of Djoser (constructed 2630 BC–2611 BC) that was built during the third dynasty. This pyramid and it’s surroundings were designed by the architect Imhotep, and are generally considered the world's oldest monumental structures constructed of dressed masonry. After that you are transferred to Memphis that was once the first capital of Egypt and the center of rule and culture for more than 3000 years founded by King Menes. You will also get to see the statue of king Rameses the 2nd. Your tour will end with drop off at your hotel.
