What You Can Expect

Collection from all hotels from around 04.30am and your flight to Cairo leaves at 06.00am. Arrival in Cairo at 07.00am where you will be met by Mahmoud our main guide in Cairo. Fluent in English and a fully licensed Egyptologist for 15 years. What he doesn't know about Egypt just isn't worth knowing. Transportation around Cairo is by a fully air conditioned vehicle. Once collected from the airport you are taken to the Egyptian museum where you will spend around 2 hours, entrance fees are included. A full explanation will be given to you of the main features and artefacts there. Then it is of to the papyrus institute for about 45 minutes to see how original papyrus is made and you will be taught how to tell the original from the many fakes around the country. Then it is of to lunch at the restaurant on the River Nile, however you will be given the choice of staying in the vehicle or taking a felucca boat trip down the Nile to the restaurant. If chosen then this is payable at source. Lunch is of buffet style and is included in the cost but any drinks taken must be paid for as an extra. After lunch it of to the Pyramids, surely the highlight of your trip to Egypt. The entrance fees are included to the plateau area containing the Pyramids, thye sphinx and the solar museum. Should you wish to enter the pyramids then again this is an extra and is payable at source and Mahmoud our guide will arrange this for you, the same can be said for the solar museum. You will spend around 2 to 2.5 hours in the area, after which time there is a short amount of time available for a little shopping in the local bazar before your transfer back to the airport and your return flight to Sharm which will arrive in Sharm at about 21.00pm. We will be waiting for you for your transfer back to your hotel in good time for your evening meal. A fabulous and very exciting trip, memories will be with you for many many years to come.
